Junior golfers and their families are invited to tee off the 2025 golf season at the Junior Golfapalooza on Saturday, April 19 at Springbrook Golf Course, located at 2220 83rd Street. This is an educational event for young golfers, new or experienced, ages 5-17. Resident registration begins Saturday, April 12 and nonresidents can register beginning Tuesday, April 15 at www.napervilleparks.org. Participants may register for one of the following sessions: 10:00-11:00 a.m., 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m., and 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Participants will receive instructional clinics from PGA golf professionals on full swing, chipping and putting. Junior golfers can improve their golf game while trying out the latest golf equipment, participating in games and events, and enjoying complimentary hot dogs and beverages.
“This is a great event for young golfers who are new to the sport or want to refine their skills to receive instruction from our golf professionals on all aspects of the game,” said Director of Golf Kevin Carlson. “It’s also a fun way to introduce new golfers to the game and teach them about golf equipment and instruction options.”
One parent or guardian must be present at the event. Participants are asked to bring their own clubs, if possible, as a limited number of clubs will be available for use at the event.
