Ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for May 6 at 5:00 p.m.
The Naperville Park District invites the community to celebrate the reopening of the newly renovated playgrounds at Spring-Field Park and Arbor Way on Tuesday, May 6 at 5:00 p.m. This will be the first ribbon-cutting ceremony of 2025. While both playground renovations will be celebrated, the event will be held at Spring-Field Park, located at 2031 Springside Circle, which is adjacent to Arbor Way.
The playground at Spring-Field Park includes a variety of unique updates, including a 20-foot-long zipline, silo net climber, inclusive spinner and a new multi-user disc swing. Additionally, Arbor Way features a climbing circuit that includes rope and rock components, as well as a playhouse. Both parks have added two new picnic tables. Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, children are welcome to explore the playground’s new features and enjoy light refreshments provided by the Park District.
